Hello all, I have posted here and I am sure you all know me as the one who freaks about like nothing. I have OCD and I am terrified of getting HIV/AIDS. Yes I post on the OCD board, but what I want is some advice on some worries I have. I want the advice of people who know more about this virus and I hope to educate myself more on it. I feel if I know more about it, then it may not be such a worry for me. Here goes some situations I have worried about, I am sorry if some are a tad graphic.

Ok so I walked into a public bathroom and into the stall. I noticed there was blood on the seat (I believe it was dry). I went to leave that stall for another, and touched the stall door. After that my mind starts racing (what if there was blood on that door). So I worry that if there was blood on the door as well, it would get on my hands, then when I wiped it would get on my private area. When I got home, I showered and paid special attention to my private area. I was on my menstrual cycle, I changed tampons. That really freaks me out. What if I got the blood on me down there, it wasnt cleaned off and when I put a tampon in, it pushes the foreign blood up in there? Ok I am sure this sounds crazy, but is there an ounce of chance this could all happen and I could get HIV?

Also, is there HIV/AIDS in urine or feces?
How long until the HIV/AIDS dies when the blood hits the air?

You didn't get HIV from this. HIV dies pretty quickly outside of the body...so, by the time you entered the stall it would not have been viable.
