Does anyone know anything about the above amino acid? My mom is almost 40 days off of opiates due to a back injury but she is experiencing extreme ANXIETY! They did give her Trazodone and Seroquel but she does not want to take either anymore. I truly hope you can give me some advice on the anxiety as I am not getting much feedback on the other boards. Looking forward to hearing from you!

hi gina, well all i know about l-tyrosine is that its the precurser to noradrenaline/adrenaline and dopamine, its maianly stimulating, and it has no effects on serotonin or gabba which are the two chemicals that control anxiety, i hope this helps ;)
