As the title states I see things that are not there, I am on two anti-psycotics, zyprexa and lithium, what do I see? Normally little black specks jumping in and out of my vision when it gets really bad the little black specks resemble insects. The big one is out of the corner of my eye I see human being shapes fly across the room then disappear, or I will see someone who turns out to be in another part of the house. Anyone else experiancing this?
thanks for responding

did you take phisical examinations to see if you have any problem in your eyes?
If you donīt have no problems problably you have some paranormal going on.
Unfortanly doctors and phsycatrists are not prepared for such problems thinking that peole have some disturbance of the mind

no I do not think they are paranormal stuff and my eyes are close to perfect. I had this off and on since the major episode started, late April, so I was wondering if it means my meds need to be upped again or what. My doc does not seem to surprised when I answer yes to the "do yo see things" question. Thanks for the suggestion though

Hey, I looked up Seroquel, and it lists hallucinations as a frequent side effect. Hmmm, something isn't right with that picture, you know? I don't recall which antip's you said you were on, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case with the others as well. What a PITA. How are you doing, aside from seeing things that aren't there?

"Visual disturbances" are side effects of most psych meds.

I am not too sure what is causing them, they are a pain in the butt though and I drive very little at night because of it. Overall I am doing alright, having to wait for so long to be admitted is giving me more time to go through all the reasons for not going. Hopefully it will happen soon. how are you?

Driving at night is worse...because of the things that you see? This is sounding limiting. Hopefully that doesn't keep you home and your dw drives and you all get out of the house some. Dark being as long as it is up there this time of year...blech.
Overall doing alright...given the situation? If you don't talk yourself out of the hospital, I hope they open the door for you soon.
I've done the usual weekend classes burnout, kinda dragging this a.m. but it's all good. The ringing in my ears though.... grrrr. Guess it's worth a call to the pdoc if she can suggest SOMETHING. Don't get to talk to you as much now.
