i got one today and i have had them before , its just that today it hurt real bad when she put the needle in and now i can bareley bend my arm it hurts bad , i get blood taken evrytwo weeks and this has never happened
plus i had to keep my arm funny because it wouldnt flow right if i didnt
just wondering if this has happened to anyone befor e, i can tell this is gonna be bruiser

DON'T let that particular nurse hit you again! I had one do that to me and I about went thru the ceiling! She may have hit a nerve or poked thru the vein. The next time I went for bloodwork I told the head nurse and refused to let the one who hurt me do it again. Get to know the nursing staff and request your favorites. You can even find out ahead of time if they are working on your appt day and switch if not. Many dr.s have multiple offices so you could also visit another location.
