I color my hair med. blonde and got so tired of the color always fading out I broke down and got this stuff.
Even though I color Med. Blonde I got the Brown and this stuff is great :bouncing: Adds a hint of color and great shine.
This is the longest I have been able to go without coloring it over and over again.

I'd like to know about the red or brown on brown hair.

I color my hair a slightly reddish brown. Cinnamon stick in Clairol's Natural Instincts. I tried several auburns, but I guess Auburn just isn't the color I thought it was because that was just unnatural. I'd like it to be reddish, but it needs to be natural.

They make it in red. It's suttle and it takes a few shampoos to get the full effect.
It really leaves a nice shine as well.

by using the brown on blonde hair, does it add color to your hair? does it darken your hair at all?

My hair is a darker blonde. It does darken it but it looks good, not real drastic.
As the color fades this helps boost it and keep it longer so I don't have to color so often which is great.

hmm, i wonder if i even dare try this. my hair is naturally kind of a light golden blonde, but i've wanted to go darker for quite some time. unfortunately, i have tried to color my hair myself and it turns out too red or kind of purple.

i would hope that this stuff would give me darker blonde or light brownish tones if i used the brown kind. but i dont know if i should risk it.

I have the same problem. Ash turns it green and if I go lighter it turns it red and darker brown it turns grayish/green/purple
This is a wash out glaze and not extreamly noticable. Cost about ten bucks a bottle.
It gives a nice hint of darker color and shine.

Does this glaze work like a shampoo? how often are you supposed to use it: once a week or just like a regular shampoo? I have medium blonde hair with light blonde highlights--wonder if i should use the one for light blonde or for darker blonde...

I use it every day. You use it after shampoo and conditioner. Leave it in for 3 minutes and rinse.

It leaves a heavy build up. I didn't like it. I only used it twice. The 1st time it was ok..but by the 2nd time-awful. It broke my hair, weighed it down and I still can't get the residue out. :nono:

If you buy the color your highlights are, will it still darken your hair? I was hoping to get something that can keep highlights bright. Does it add lots of shine or make hair feel healthier?
