I have been Dx with hep c and had blood work done in January, a liver biopsy done in February. I'll get the results of all this March 24th. I am concerned that after my biopsy my tummy has swollen up and is jelly like. It wasn't like that before the test was done and I'm wondering has some damage been done to my liver by having this test. I know the biopsy hurt like the dickens. I was in pain for about 3 days afterwards as well. I feel full all the time and like my liver is swollen in my abdomen. Although there is no pain now I feel different and want to know how long it takes for your liver to go back to normal size after a biopsy.

You need to call your doctor and have this looked at.

:) I would call my Dr about all the swelling. I had a biospy done and didn't have any pain orswelling. Just a little discomfort for a couple of hours.
