View Full Version : Gall Bladder? Intense Hunger Pains

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night due to INTENSE hunger pains, or what I thought were hunger pains. I was so tired I just fell back asleep. Throughout the day it kept up (not as bad, but persistant). Of course I ate, but that didn't help. So I looked up some info and it looks like it could be gall bladder related. What do you guys think?

It's like an intense pain whenever my stomach growls. I've eaten and it doesn't seem to do anything.

I am not sure about the gallbladder thing, but certain foods I eat (and have learned to avoid) sent my stomach into a spasmic tantrums. Most fats and sugars don't "bother" me even though they are not good for you and unfortunately I eat my share of them.

Yeah, but this happens regardless if I've eaten or not.

Well, I went to the emergency room yesterday because it got so bad. Turns out I actually have gastritis. I was told to eat very simple foods, no spices or garlic and such.

Those of you with gastritis, what foods should I be eating. I hate bland food, but apparently I have no choice. I know what to avoid, but what you eat?
