Hi everyone,

Do you go out and do things in the evenings? I seem to just want to be home at night, because ALL the symptoms kick in in the evenings: tingling in extremities, buzzing in feet, neck and muscle aches, major anxiety, stomach issues, chills and more chills, etc........

I have symptoms all day too, but they seem to be worse at night and I feel like a hermit. It bugs, because I know I'm not young, but I'm not 80 yet either!! Let me know how your evenings are...

The Lord's blessings on you all! Thanks ladies--I appreciate your input so much...

Thank you for the blessings Lynn, I can use them....:) I don't have the same extreme symptoms you seem to have, but I can tell you that once dinner is done which is around 6:30, I could easily pack everything in and go to bed. Maybe not to go to sleep right away, but I crave just getting into bed, teeth brushed, with a book and chill. I don't have the energy to do anything else which is a problem cause I have three boys, and there are soccer practices, homework to do and laundry to be done etc. It's also a problem because my husband comes home around this time....and I'm ready for bed???

I feel tired all the time, it seems like that is all I think about getting into bed. It's seems like I don't have energy for anything. I am feelings so old and I am only 46. I have always been full of energy so this is so weird for me. I feel like a whiner, because I know there are people with very seriouse diseases and are probably doing better then me. I just can't wait for this to be over.

I use to feel that way also, and still do occasionaly. My dr recommended a b-complex vitamin, and I have been taking it for about 8 months now. It seems to help some, however, I also take a nap almost every afternoon, so, don't know if it's all the vitamin or a combination of vitamin and nap.:) I do feel lucky that I am able to take a nap when I need one. My b-day is tomorrow, I will be 49 :(

Hi Dovely,

Thanks for your response, and happy birthday! My birthday was March 1st and I am 52--getting older and feeling it!! I too take a High Potency B-100 with my lunch each day, and it is helpful in giving me energy. Since I work full-time, I can't take a daily afternoon nap, so it is really difficult some days when I get that "afternoon sleepiness" at work! Anyway, hope yo have a really nice birthday. Our family is going to the Scandinavian Inn for brunch today to celebrate my birthday!

Blessings,
Lynn

I find sleeping really hard and am also constantly tired. I get up at 6.30am and by the time I have done my housework and had lunch I am falling asleep.

I have suffered with anxiety and agora for most of my adult life and I find it really hard to push myself when I am feeling so tired.

I also dont want to live like I am 80, I was 51 last week and I don't think that is old

Hang in there. The fatigue does go away in time. I am 3 years post and I have tons of energy most of the time.

I was not like this two years ago. I thought that the end was in sight. However, I now have my energy back and it is better than 10 years ago.

Every once in awhile I have a day where I can't get it together but I can't remember when the last one was.

I know that every woman on here has her own way of going through meno and will get her energy back in her own time.

Hi,

I too fight times when I am just so drained and then times when i am full of energy. I had more of a problem a couple years ago with this but still (I am 51 and still having my period) there are times when I have what has been described on here as "crashing fatigue".

Twanger, it was encouraging to read your words as it sounds like there is light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. Thanks for sharing.

So nice to know that I am also, not alone. I definitely have the "crashing fatigue". At first I really thought sometimes was seriously wrong but now I know that it is "normal", for me anyway. It is very discouraging though and I have almost severe cravings that I never had before, but I take vitamins, etc. so don't think it is a deficiency. I just love spinach salad now, can't get enough!! I also really enjoy a glass of wine at night with dinner. I have never been a drinker, hate hard liquor but that glass of wine, especially if I have had a no-energy day seems to relax and almost invigorate me. That is a little strange but it must be part of the changes going on. I love the support this board gives.....
