What are your chances of having twins when on Clomid? My doctor said I have a 3% chance and with Clomid it increases to 5%? Does that seem right? Everyone who I talked to has known people that have had twins, so it seems like 5% is low???

I don't know what the percentages is for twins on clomid. But, I do know that for IVF it's 25%, and even higher when you put more than two back. Maybe those you talked to have done other methods. They say that percentages of multiples are climbing steadily b/c of all the methods out there.

I am an identical twin, born when there were no treatments like this out there. So, of course it is possible to have an egg split naturally. Being a twin though, has made me even more excited about the possibility of having them. Good luck!!

I was told that the chances of twins is 5% on clomid. I am wondering why the doctor gave you a 3% without drugs (naturally)? The statistics of twins occurring naturally, without fertility, is way lower than 3% of the population.
