I'm just curious.

What's the visual acuity ratio for about -8 spherical prescription? I'm not sure what the exact prescription is, but it's rounded up to -8.

(This is not me by the way.)

This person sees like this before contacts/glasses. I believe she just sees normally (20/20?) with glasses or contacts on.

Myopic Correction and it's Snellen Visual Acuity :

-0.50 20/25 to 20/30 -1.00 20/30 to 20/50 -3.00 20/300 -4.00 20/400 -5.00 20/600 -6.00 20/800 Therefore a -6.25 = approx. 20/850
-6.75 = approx. 20/950. -7.00 Dioptors of Myopia. approx. 20/1000. Again,

-8.00 = 20/1200

Hope this is helpful.
