I have just noticed this little ball on the right side of my neck. It is very low in the neck, I would say about 1.5 inches above my collar bone. It is pretty small and feel almost like a perfect ball. It does not hurt and you can only feel it if you poke my neck. It moves very easily too. I could have had it my whole life and never noticed it> Anyone have any advice. I have an appointment wednsday, but i'm not sure if I will make it to then. ANy help is much appreciated. Thanks

try and stay calm until you see the DR. It sounds like what I experienced. Last May I found a small pebble like nodule on the right side of my face infront of my ear. I mentioned it to my rheumatologist who said you have had a sinus infection it is probably just a swollen gland. In August I went to a new PCP and he measured it and said to come back in 8 weeks. I was having a lot of dental work done and happen to ask the Dentist if I had any abcess's. He freaked when UI pointed it out to him and I was scheduled for a FNA( Fine Needle Aspiration) 4 days later. They all thought they were dealing with a benign tumor in the salivary gland. Had surgury a week later and they found it wasnt in the gland.. Waited 9 days for Path report to find out I have Lymphoma. I am now scheduled for my last chemo on the 16th of March ( I have had 3 already) then i get a new set of CT Scans and off I go to the radiologist to find out what and how many he wants to do. Hopefully you wont have to go thru all of this but I just want you to make sure they pay attention and not shrug it off. If I can answer any other questions please ask .. this board is wonderfull and very supportive
