The problem is my father. He is 81 years old with alzheimers. He has excessive bowel movements. Any way to control the amount of his bowel movements?

The best way to bulk up a stool and make it regular is to take a water soluble fiber supplement with adequate water.
It works as well for loose stools/ diarrhea as it does for constipation.

Eating too much insoluble fiber will produce too many stools in some people!!
