I do get itchy blisters from contact with some adhesives. It is mostly because I have a latex allergy and a there are a lot of things in hospital settings and doctors offices that I have to careful of. I do not work in the medical field but have had many procedures due to my heart condition. Be careful around gloves, tires etc. just to be sure it wasn't latex. I also respond to food handled with latex gloves even if it is cooked after the handling and not handled again. It is an allergy that escalates in symptoms as you are more exposed.

I'm allergic to the adhesive in bandaids, etc. When I had my gallbladder out last year the longest discussion concerning the procedure was what to use to bandage the incision cites. Even the paper tape which is supposed to be non-allergenic will break me out just like this...generally happens only on my torso and inside of arms.
