My gall bladder had fused itself to my intenstines and was in bad shape, so they yanked it. Crapping every 10 minutes like everyone complains about when having this done would have been a gift sent from heaven but no. I am still constipated, it changed NOTHING about my digestive problems.
What next? This totally sucks.....

Josh,
Every person needs 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily along with enough water and exercise to make their intestines function properly.
The fiber needs to be a combination of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
Soluble fiber is a bulking type and insoluble fiber causes your intestines to contract to move food along for digestion.
There is no fiber in all meats, seafood anf dairy products.
Insoluble fiber is mostly all fruits, all veggies including green leafy type, nuts & seeds and the bran in cereals.
Soluble fiber is the inner part of all grains like rice, corn, oats, barley and wheat -- the outside part is insoluble. Beans &peas are soluble (except green beans are insoluble) but the outside part is insoluble. Also, root veggies like potatoes both white and sweet, carrots, beets, turnips.
And of course the fiber supplements like Metamucil (psyllium). Citrucel, Benefiber and Fiber Choice contain mostly soluble fiber.
I wish you well~~~Harry
