just wondered if my blood count would be off if I had HIV.. i'm calling a clinic tomorrow to be tested. They don't do the rapid results around here that I know of.. how do you handle the stress of waiting for test results... I don't know what i'll do if it's positive

you are doing the right thing to get tested. it is a very stressful time for sure. i won't lie, the waiting part sucks so bad. i guess you could call around and see who offeres what.

and NO, HIV will not do anything to a CBC, only until a person is very ill will it show anything.
