Hi i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. I do not go but every couple of days so far this week i havent went since last friday and to day is wednesday i dont want to take a ex lax because i heard if you use them to much your bowel movements will go wak and you will have to use them all the time I also heard that you are suppose to go at least 2-3 times a day i wonder if this is also why i cant lose anymore weight.

I think that everyone has their own system of when they have bowel movements. Accourding to my Gastro Dr. you should have a bowel movement at least 1 x day or every other day. That is what is best for your insides. But, some people only go 1 or 2 x week..
You need to either take Metamucil everyday all the time, or eat 1 - 2 prunes a day. Or some such other method. Lots of raw veges and fruits and whole wheat bread and cereals. Also, nuts.
If you are not careful, you will get so constipated that you will have trouble getting it to come out. Very painful. Plus, depending on how old you are, you could eventually develop a prolapsed rectal "parts". What ever that is called. :>
Take care and get something to make you more regular.

Dr. Natura's Colonix helps make your poo softer and very regular, sometimes several times a day. It's kind of expensive, but worth a try.

Did you recently stop eating a food you are used to eating? If I stop eating chocolate I get constipated and may not go for a week, or I go really hard. Once I go back to it within 3 days my entire system is back to normal. So it could be something like that.

Thinks for all your help! In the last day or two i have been going but not on my own i have to take something i do feel like i have to go (not real bad) and then when i get there i just sit there. Nothing in my diet has changed except i do exercise a little more trying to lose a couple of pounds before summer hits but noting extreme im just walking a little more. I really dont think that, that would effect me because i just started and this has been going on for a while.

sounds like you may need to add fiber to your diet and water
there are 2 types of fiber soluable and unsoluble , the latter coming from vegies such as cauliflower broccoli ect and the first also comes from some veggies like potatoes. you need to drink lots of water to make it work . you can add soluble fiber by taking metamucil or like products .Dont take too much ,follow directions and increase as needed. the water is important .hope this helps
