In my upper chest in the lung area and the muscles that run along the side of my chest by my armpits are very tight and uncomfortable. It feels kind of like, the best I can describe it, would be that I just did 1000 pushups or lifted weights and the muscles are very tense, and tight but not sore.
I started feeling this again driving to my parents last night I felt like I almost couldn't get a good breath in. Now this morning after being up and around for a bit these feelings are starting to come back again.
I know allergy season is coming up for me and I don't know if that could be triggering it. It just came on all of a sudden and I still don't feel right today.
Also my upper back between my shoulder blades is also very tense feeling.
Any thoughts on what this could be?

First, befor you wait for a dozen posts to tell you the same thing.....Go to the ER girl......
Tell them your symptoms and have them check to see if you have an infection or something, (When I have inner ear or mastoid infections it affects me that way).
They will automatically check your heart when you tell them the symptoms that you wrote in your post, so don't be surprised. When you mention chest pain in an ER, it is normal that they will first check out what is potentially the most dangerous.
Take better care of yourself,
