sonicare or oral b brushes, for whitening?

if sonicare, which one would be best? elite or intelliclean?

I have been using sonicare for about 5 years. I started with advantage, and now Im using elite. I cant say that it has really helped at all with making my teeth whiter, but I would never go back to manual brushing again. It does a great job of cleaning, butcertainly not a replacement for going to the dentist! I just started using a new whitening toothpaste and I think that is helping a little. The toothbrush itself - I dont really see how it can happen (even though they claim it does).
