Hi All
I recently missed a period and i wasnt pregnant. My last AF was on 5th Jan 06 and I started my AF again on 5th Feb 06.
How do i know when I am ovulating this month  ...........is it the same i.e trying 14 days after the first day i started my AF?
I am so confused. When we decided to try for a baby, my system messed up, i was fine having regular periods before TTC. Just my luck.
Any advice would be welcomed.

I think I'm just gonna shout it from the roof tops (in a totally nice way!) because the best advice I can give anyone for predicting ovulation is a bbt chart. anyone ttc should have one. It isn't hard to do and it makes a big difference in predicting ovulation. It also helps make you feel a little more in control. you should try one, everyone should! Good luck, and baby dust to everyone!

Ditto, ditto, ditto. If you really want to know your cycle well, confirm O, detect LPD, detect pregnancy, etc. then you gotta chart. Look up some info on Fertility Awareness Method and this should answer any questions you have about it. Best of luck to you!

you should try using an online fertility calendar...just do a search & you'll have many options to choose from. most are free.

I know the previous posters said it, but I'll say it too. BBT is the way to go. I know some women can tell by cervical mucus, but some people, like me, I don't produce enough CM.
BBT can tell soooo much. Make sure you get a BBT thermometer, and not your usual fever thermometer. Granted, it will take a few months to see your pattern of when you O. I always thought I O on CD 14, like what all the medical textbooks say. Well, I don't O til CD 18-19! That's a big difference when you're TTC.

There is one online that is great, it tracks everything for you and tells you when you are the most fertile. It keeps track of BBT, CM, CP, OPK, and meds, moods, etc. I would put the link in here, but it X's it out. I recommend charting all of the above, but if you are having trouble interpreting it yourself, find a site that does it for you. The one I use is free. Good luck to you!
