Hello everyone,
It seems like anytime that I ever fall asleep at any point other than the nightime (such as, for a nap...) and sleep for at least an hour, EVERY TIME I wake up, I have dry mouth, and I feel lethargic and flushed. This never ever happens when I wake up in the morning... only when I take naps during the afternoon or evening...
Does this sound like it could just be normal? Maybe my body just doesn't like it when I don't follow my sleep routine?

Absolutely normal! Everyone I know says that and it happens to me too which is why I avoid taking a nap during the day no matter how tired I am. I'll even wake up nauseated, depressed, you name it!

Sleep for about 90 minutes, no more, no less. 90 minutes, so I am told, is the time it takes for you to move through a complete sleep cycle. Any less and you interrupt the REM; any more and you move into a new sleep cycle that you invariably interrupt when you wake, say, 30 mintues later. Set an alarm.
