I have absolutely no clue what is causing a pain that I have been getting. I get a split second pain under each breast at the exact same time. I'll have it for a week or two and then it will disappear and come back a month or so later. I've had it while laying in bed, sitting at my computer, walking through the grocery store. There is absolutely no consistency to it nor does anything seem to trigger it. It only lasts for a second and I'll maybe have it 5 or 6 times throughout the day. Does anyone have any idea what it may be? At first I thought it might be a muscle pull strain but for it to go away for a month or two and then suddenly reappear for now reason. I am clueless!

I am going to reply as if you were a female. You don't allow us to know.
It is hard to say what is causing this pain. Could be your bra is too tight, to your gall bladder is having problems, to gas pains. Pain in the torso is very hard to pinpoint unless you have a doctor look at you.
I have had the same pain, but never really thought about it. Just another little pain that tells me I am alive.
Good luck in finding what is causing it.

Sorry, I am a female. I've wondered about the gallbladder too, but I have no other symptoms to indicate it might be that. I don't necessarily get these pains near the time I've eaten either. It can't be bra related because I get them even when I'm not wearing one. It's really a mystery and I can't seem to figure it out. Thank you for your reply.

I've had strange pains like that before. Pain radiates and the place that you think is the source of the pain is actually coming from somewhere else. I've had gas pains hurt up in my shoulder before.

Sometimes it's just a nerve, especially if you think to yourself, "Wow, good thing this pain doesn't last any longer than a split second becuase it would be hard to stand it!" Pain from a nerve could be like a quick ZING in the area.
