hi, im a 21 year old female, ive been suffering from anal fissures and hemmaroids for about 10 years. i went to te doctor for the first time a few months ago, she couldnt find a fissure, though i knew that i had had one recently. now i have a fissure again, and im not sure weather its chronic on acute. it doesnt cause me that much discomfort and it only bleeds a little sometimes when i have BM. how can you tell if a fissure is acute on chronic? because i have been suffering from this for a long time but it goes away and then comes back. also it is at the side, i read that this is rare and should be a cause of concern, does anyone know why? is there any way i can heal a fissure so it doesnt become chronic? and if it is chronic is there a way of healing it without surgery?
