I'm in the process of doing my first IUI....I have been taking 100 mg of clomid (cycle days 5-9) plus injectibles. I went in for my ultrasound today (cycle day 13). The nurse said only two looked big enough (19 and 17.5). There were a few others that weren't quite as big. There are no male factor issues.

I'm really concerned because I thought that the goal was to have at least 3 good sized follicles and I only have two. Does anyone have any ideas as to the chances of the IUI working???? I could really use some insight as to what is a good follicle size.

Also, does this mean I don't have good quality eggs if I don't respond with a lot of big follicles?? or is egg quality/egg reserve unrelated to the number of follicles that get produced via meds????

Any thoughts would be so helpful!
