I had some general blood tests done last week and my doctor imformed me that my CK levels were around 780, which was serveral times higher than the normal range of 30-160. She has ordered the blood to be retaken, an ecg done and ive been refered to a rhemotologist specialist at my hospital next week, which is cuasing me alot of concern.
Im 21, male and in feel in good physcial shape, my bp and cholesteral levels are all fine, and im not on any medication, i do however do two 3 hr pretty intense sessions in the gym each week and have a pretty physical job, all of which i did explain to her.
Is it possible that i could obtain such a high level simple due to the intense stress my body undergoes each week, combined with the fact i had the blood taken 1 hr after a 9 hr night shift, and had been awake about 24 hrs?
