View Full Version : Does anyone take Probiotics and Enzymes together?

I've been taking a probiotic (8 billion organisms in capsule form) first thing in the morning an hour before breakfast for the past several months and noticed that it's helped my allergies and asthma a little. Does anyone know if it's good or bad (or neither?) to take an enzyme tablet along with the probiotic on an empty stomach or just take the enzymes with meals?

Thank you.

Alot of probiotics are destroyed by stomach acid so it's best to take them between meals or at bed time and store them in the refrigerator--- heat also affects them.

Enzymes are used to help digest food so they should be taken at the beginning of a meal.
