View Full Version : Blood work - High CD8 Count

I had a lot of blood work done to help determine if I'm having CFS issues. Everything came back normal, except that my CD8 was high at 11000. The upper range is 900. This, of course, made by CD4/CD8 ratio low. My CD4 is otherwise normal.

The research I've done indicates that a LOW CD4/CD8 ratio is not indicative of CFS. In fact, a HIGH CD4/CD8 ratio is indicative of CFS.

I'm nervious about the high CD8. Anyone have any ideas what this might indicate? I have bad allergies and get allergy shots frequently. I'm wondering if the allergy shots are causing the CD8 to spike.

Thanks!!
