I'm a 57 year old female, and I feel cold most of the time except when I'm having hot flashes. I am hypothyroid and have been taking levoxyl for many years. My readings have been within the ranges. I'm tired of feeling cold. I actually shake at times I'm so cold. Does anyone know of any other condition that can make you feel this way? I sure would like to find out so I can fix it. THANKS.

Have you lost a lot of weight lately? If so, losing part of your insulation will allow you to feel cold. I did for about 2 years after losing 65 lbs over time. I am also hypothyroid.

It could be the thyroid med (generic) you are taking is not doing a great job controlling the T3, T4, etc. Ask doctor to do a more indepth study of your thyroid.
