If they continue to not show clear then you will be given the hysterectomy talk. ilovesporty 03-10-2006, 11:04 PM I'm in a similar situation as you. I had a cone in December and the margins were clear, but not clear enough for comfort. I just had another cone last week (as well as a pelvic lymphadenectomy). Everything came out clear this time. Good luck! want2know 03-11-2006, 02:09 AM tehn,l bat tpagm 03-11-2006, 08:27 AM I did not have clear margins after my Leep in 03/2005. My results were that it they couldn't read the results as the margins were burnt from the leep machine. The doctor said everything will be just fine she got it all. She said this is very normal. So I went in for my follow up pap it came back ACUS in 07/2005. Doctor said don't worry this can happen after a LEEP. Then in 10/2005 went back fro another follow up pap and it was NORMAL...wooohooo. Then I went back in 01/2006 and it came back Mild CIN I. Most likely came back on another part of my cerivix. Will have to go back in 04/2006 for another follow up pap to see where i go from here... SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!! want2know 03-11-2006, 12:15 PM ...ten characters Sugarhi16 03-11-2006, 01:45 PM It seems like a vicious rollercoaster ride for most women. I couldn't agree with that statement more! It's so true. :bouncing: Backinthesaddle 03-11-2006, 08:06 PM If nutrition was the only culprit in this I would never have had it. I was one a very healhty physically fit women. The past year and a half I have been idle due to preg. then neck injury/surgery but still healthy. It is a nasty little bugger that just finds its in and runs. I do think staying healthy will keep your immune system up and running and that is what fights it off. Hmmmm my pap in Nov showed HPV my pap/ecc last week showed HPV negative. My oncologist says the body fights it off. But it does its damage first. want2know 03-12-2006, 11:21 AM not for me no no tpagm 03-12-2006, 12:51 PM From what I understand Dsyplasia is caused only by HPV. At least that is what my doctor says. I have tested negative and positive for it because your body does fight it off however it is still in your system. For some reason it can show negative and other times show positive. I am definitely living proof of that because I have tested both ways positive and negative and positive and now negative however I now have mild dsyplasia. I am a very healthy person. I eat well and go to the gym 4-5 days a week and this is still happening to me. I attempted to try and take folic acid supplements since people say it helps with dsyplasia...however, I got bad headaches from it. want2know 03-12-2006, 01:19 PM this is not |
