It's basic knowledge that having any type of eating disorder lowers the immune system, but being HIV+, is being bulimic a very large threat to your health? I would imagine that it would effect how long HIV stays in a managable state, right? If anyone has any further information on this I would really like it if you would share. Being HIV+ and suffering from bulimia for going on four years, I would like to know what this will do to me. I am receiving help for it right now, but if I know that it will shorten my life, I think it will be a bigger inspiration for me to quit. I really am trying my hardest but it's not an easy thing to do.

hello! i've noticed that since i developed bulimia, i get sick a lot quicker, so being HIV+ with bulimia sounds like a really dangerous combination. i wish you all the best in your battle! come hang out with us on the ED board sometime... it's a good supportive bunch.
