Hi. I'm a 16 year old male, active, healthy, and not on any medication.
Lately I've been having chest pains on the lower-left side of my chest when ever I take deep breath or make a sudden movement. Nothing entirely new to me or some other people I've talked to. I used to get them VERY VERY rarely when I was younger, and just now I've started to get them pretty much daily. I've got one right now that's been with me for about 2 hours.
What is this? Is it anything to worry about? Should I see a doctor? And is there any way to make them go away?
Thanks.

My immediate thought is that you are going through growing pains that many your age go through and experience as chest pain. My next thought is, whenever you have chest pain it should be evaluated by a doctor to rule out anything more serious.

I suggest that you go get your lung checked out. In my opinion that's what it sounds like. I don't know what it could be or what could be causing it, but while I wouldn't be terrified, I'd be concerned. It can't hurt to get checked out.
