We are so glad that you hooked your mom up with this board. It is a life saver for all of us! You can come and talk and learn about alzheimers here, yourself - if you want.

Thank you! I'm super-close to my mother. I believe she needs to be taking care of herself as much as she is her own mother with AD.

It's the long goodbye for her, but it doesn't have to be a long goodbye to my mother, too. I'm hoping that she lets go some and reclaims her life a bit more.

That's what we are all encouraging her to do .. it is hard. I know, I had to let go and my Mom is now in a good nursing home. It was the right decision for everyone, including her. Thanks for sticking by your Mom and being such a good son to her. I am also fortunate in my kids, who are also very positive and supportive of me.
