I have had TMJ for as long as I can remember and honestly it never bothered me. But now whenever I open my mouth wide people next to me can hear it. Also, to make matters worse its kinda effecting "bedroom time" (if you know what I mean). Is there anything out there that can help? My dentist told me I might want to consider a mouthguard when I go to bed, however I really don't think my husband would find that too sexy -HAHA. Anyone out there with some advice?
Thx.

I, and everyone around me, have been able to hear my jaw opening and closing for over 15 years. It's also always been associated with pain. No, it's not fair. But, you get used to it. And, my husband would much rather look at me in my night guard every night knowing that it helps alleviate some of my pain and that there's a chance for a little of that bedroom time. ;)
