Hi Ladies,
I have a question about exactly when you O when taking your temp. I've been charting since July 2005 and each month there is a rise in temp of at least .4 degrees after I O (around CD 18). It looked like a good chart formation etc.

Then in Dec-Feb I was on Clomid and didn't really see a change in my chart formations. This is my first month off clomid and I haven't seen a change in temp other than .2 degrees 2 days before I started to have O pain. Each day there is a .1 degree increase. It's a slow increase in temp vs. a sharp increase. So confusing.

What are the temp increase indications of O? At least .2 degree increase or .3 or .4?

Any info or input would be great.

Hi, I'm not sure what to tell you. I have always had a pretty sharp incline on my chart, but maybe if you could find a chart gallery then you could compare your chart to others and try and see where o was in comparison to slow temp rises. (I'm sorry if that doesn't makes sense. lol) good luck and baby dust to everyone

I think it is a rise of atleast .3 for atleast 3 days. Do a search on BBT and you will find tons of info.

So it's not .3 degree increase overnight but over 3 days?

Thanks gals.

Yes the increase will be constant until your next AF, or if you are pregnant they stay up. One increase does not mean that you have O'ed yet. It has to be maintained for atleast 3 days. Hope that helps.
