View Full Version : Dizzy, weak (for 8 months) after yelling?

I've had this problem for 8 months now, but I had it last year also, for 8 months and then I was 95% over it, and able to work again.

I got very angry over a situation, and yelled very loud. The symtoms were as follows: I became dizzy, very weak, unable to do work, and it lasted 8 months.

I got over it and went to work for a few months, but the same thing happened again. There was a headache for a month or so after ward, but that is rare now... I got mad and yelled at the top of my lungs. Now its been 8 months again, and no relief. Now the symtoms seem to be getting worse. If I talk, or take a hot bath, I get the symptoms badly, and have to lay down. I am partally functional, but I cannot work, and Im not sure what to do.
The symtoms seem consistent with fluid on the brain to some degree.

Im 41 and in good health, never had this type of problem before...I can walk about 3 blocks before it affects me, makes me tired. It took me 8 months to be able to walk 2 miles with no problems...

Can anyone help out with this? What could it be?

Thank you

Todd

Using some reverse logic, I decided to try to attempt to "cool down" my spinal fluid, as hot baths give me a dizzy relaps, IE: creates more pressue in my head. It actually has worked using ice pacs, and Im looking into cold baths for a complete body cool down, to try to relieve pressure in my head... my symptoms are close enough to MILD hydorcephalus that I assume this was where the pressure was comming from. Not sure if cold actually would lessen the fluid pressure, but my energy level went way up, and my ear "popped" like you get at altitude- 2x, with ice pack applied at base of skull...

Im thinking cold baths could releive and speed up healing... Ill inform on this as I do it... :)

You should see a doctor and tell him your symptoms and maybe get some tests done.
Maybe you had a slight stroke called a tia.
People who have MS find that their symptoms get worse when they are heated.
I hope you feel better soon.
