I am a 47 year old, perimenopause woman and my total cholesterol is rising. Last labs showed:
T-cho = 234
TGL = 68
HDL-C = 77
LDL-CHO = 153

Reason for CARE, not worry.
I'd try lowering my saturated fats and eliminating trans fats...lose weight if desirable and exercise. You know, all the GOOD stuff.
Your HDL is excellent but your LDL is borderline high.
