Im so worried! I had been with someone for a few months and found out he had cheated on me with alot of people. Im so worried that I have HIV now...I've scheduled an appt. for testing, but just the waiting game and eveything is KILLING me!...I've been having sore throats and joint pains....But I think I've had the joint pains since before I got together with him....I dont remember...Im going CRAZY!!! What can I do? ANd does it sound like I may have it? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

First calm down, symptoms mean nothing, I was having hotflashes, jointpains, sore throat, rashes, headaches. All after what I thought was a possible exposure and I tested at 1 month, 4 months, 7 months, and a year after and still I was negative. Now all of those symptoms went away with time
Im really sorry that somebody put you through what you had to go through, but Im sure everything will be just fine, your test results are the only thing that can put your mind at ease.

The waiting is the WORST part.
I understand as most of us here do, what you're going through.
You are better off testing and knowing that not.
I tested at 4 weeks and at 10 weeks and both negative.
The best thing to do is TRY not to read so much on the net. Everything and nothing is a symptom.
Everyone here on the forum is WONDERFUL!!!!

Its funny how the people who give you the results are so dramatic, so for a few seconds there, I swore they were going to tell me I was positive...I actually hugged the lady :D But yea, Im gonna celebrate, all my friends are so happy and relieved cause they knew how scared I was, so we're gonna have us a girls nite out..Thanks Again!!! :wave:
