I know what you are going through. I went to a holistic MD dr in Lafayette, LA and she did a ELISA food allergy test and a CDSA stool test. This diagnosed a severe allergy to yeast and minor allergies to sunflower oil, safflower oil, avocadoes, and sesame oil. I eliminated those foods from my diet for 3 months and got over that. The stool test showed I had a major Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria and I got over this after taking 4months of plant tannins which are antifungal as well as also kill the Klebsiella. Within the first 2 weeks on the plant tannins I was off the antispasmotic drug. The gas, flatulence, and bloat all went away after this treatment. She also has me on Licorice(DGL), enzymes, and probiotics. She recommended Xanthones juice as maintenance and to heal up the Leaky Gut. The first bottle I drank my stools became normal and formed. Xanthone juice is a powerful anti inflammatory and cox 2 inhibitor and I no longer suffer any joint pain since the 3rd month of drinking it.

As IBSFree has suggested, perhaps a holistic doc would be helpful to you. Especially if you've tried everything rec. by the gastroenterologist & struck out.
Did your gastro test you for lactose intolerance? It's a biggie for causing gas.
Food allergies/intolerances & bad gut bugs (aka 'gut dysbiosis') are responsible for many cases of gassiness. A good probiotic (ck. at your health food store) can be a great start towards gut health.
There are many routes to diagnosing food allergies. You can visit an allergist. Or a naturopath/holistic doc. Or you can try eliminating certain food groups (dairy, gluten, egg, corn) one at a time for a few weeks & seeing if it makes a difference.
I have a son w/ gluten allergy (IgE allergy to wheat, barley & rye) who was gassy since infancy ... left it all behind, plus pediatric migraine & brain fog, once his diet eliminated the gluten.
Best wishes.
