Since about July I've had a stiff neck. It seems to be high on the back of my neck. I also get pain in the lower back of my head. Mostly back of the head -- very upper neck. Both sides. Makes me want to bend my head forward to streatch it out, and to the sides. I'm also frequently lightheaded. Not dizzy. I sleep fine, have had no weight loss. I also get sensations of head pressure or head fullness. The lightheadedness, head pressure, and stiff neck are very bothersome. I walk fine. I even play softball fine. Though, many times throughout the day, I feel like I am floating...kind of in a fog. Vision is, and has always been fine. Any ideas?

thanks any advice would be great !!! :bouncing:

Do you sleep near a window with cold air, that can cause a stiff neck. Also it sounds like it could be stress headaches.

I think they could cause dizziness. I know sometimes I get them and they get boarderline migrane, which make me have blinding pain as well as dizziness. How long ago did you have a check up with your dr? I don't think it's something too serious (that's just my opinion though!) but would be a good idea to get to the dr soon to talk about it. I'm not sure how you feel about taking medication, but there's stuff out there that can help and seeing a dr will put your mind at ease.

maybe like an anti-depressent, which I think is as close as an anti-stress pill there is lol. Or anti anxiety. My friend used to get really bad headaches then they put her on low dose zoloft and it helped.
