I saw specialist yesterday is treating me for reflux am on Pariet 20mg 1 tablet daily, have never had heartburn before I have asthma too.

Is anyone else on Pariet?

I was on Pariet same dosage as you for 4 months. I have LPR.
My doctor switched me to Nexium, and have been taking it for one month.
The only difference, and I'm not sure if it is due to the switch, is breathing is easier. Dr. told me to stick to it for 3 more months, which is the time it takes to see a noticeable difference.
He also told me Nexium is the best medecine for this condition.
