I just started Lyrica a week ago. It makes me so dizzy and sleepy.......when will this stop, anyone know?

What dose are you on and how fast did you titrate?

I am taking 100 in the morning and in the evening. I still have burning sensations so I think he will up the dosage in six weeks. I took a smaller dosage for a week but I forget how much it was. But to be honest i went off of it for a week in between because I had a lot of highway driving to do and didn't want to kill myself or someone else. So it is probably like starting out with two hundred per day with out really working myself up. I am just anxious for this damn pain to go away.

you're on a generally high dose for the early days. Many people would start at 75 x 2 a day, especially if tolerance sypmtoms were uncomfortable. I would stick with your current dose for the time been and if the dizziness etc doesn't settle, don't let the doctor up your dose in the short term. Most people would become acustomed to these side effects and you hopefully will. If it becomes too much though get straight on the phone to your doctor, you know the drill.
