I'm beginning to get concerned about my blood pressure. It's been twice now that I'm told it's border line high, once at a physical test for a law enforcement agency and the other at the dentist office (I think it was 70/140 or could be 140/70, not to familiar with blood pressure readings, sorry). I just purchased a heart rate monitor to help me train (running and cycling). I'm just curious if there is anyway I can use it to take my blood pressure, any suggestions?

No, a heart moniitor (for heart rate) and a sphygmomanometer (for BP) are very different. THaough the latter can be used for heart rate (if digital) the reverse isn't true.
