I had an IUI on Saturday morning at 9am. It is now Wed, 1am and I've noticed bleeding. ;( Does anyone know what this means. I'm only three and a half days post ovulation. Is this implantation bleeding? Am I having a miscarriage??

Any thoughts would be so appreciated....I'm really scared right now and don't know what to do!

It could quite possibly be implant bleeding, thats a good sign if it is! That's all I know. Just wanna wish ya luck and baby dust.

At only 3dpo its unlikly to be a miscarriage, i know its all easier said than done but the best thing you could do is relax, and not worry. ;)
my thoughts are with you

Thank you so much for the comments!

Seems like the bleeding has stopped this morning. I checked my temperature and it was 98.6 (prior to the bleeding, waking temperature was 97.7).

Does anyone know what the bleeding + high temperature means? Is 3-4DPO too soon for implantation bleeding??? I've read varying accounts about this on the web (eg some say it can happen even 2DPO, while others say at least 6DPO)

I called the nurse but she has not called me back yet. I'm getting somewhat nervous because I've never had anything like this.

I dont want to go on at you, ;) but you really should calm down, getting yourself worked up isnt going to do you any favours, the egg implants itself when its ready whether thats 3 days or 6, every one is different!! Im sending hugs hoping you may calm down and relax ;)

Thanks Layla!

I feel calmer now. The nurse called back and told me that the bleeding is probably either irritation to the uterus as a result of the IUI procedure or implantation. She said since it had stopped, I shouldn't worry too much. I didn't have any bleeding right after the IUI....seems like that is when I would have had bleeding if it was from irritation, not 3-4 days later. I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see. I really dislike the 2ww....I should find a hobby to pass the time.

I had two IUI procedures and was told with each if I had some bleeding it was normal. I never had any but thought I would let you know. Also Implantation usually doesnt take place for about 6days after conception and then usually really the bleeding doesnt show up until about 11-16 days after ovulation. These days can differ alittle but I wouldnt worry. And good luck, I know how that two week wait is, its actually worse than the 9 months Ive been going at this pregnancy. So many, what does this mean what does that mean. Yes get a hobby, read some books, get out of the house and try not to fret.

Glad you feeling better now, it must be soooooo stressful, if the truth be known it why i haven't opted for fertility yet, i dont think i could deal with the stress. That said i am in the 2ww myself and i know i will find myself here more often than not over the next 20 days or so, so we can keep company this time round!!
I got a hobby bding!!! I aint got the energy for another hobby!! HAHA :D
