Hi,
I just posted this on the digestive disorders board but was wondering if it might be better on this board?

I get these realy bad pains in my chest. I havebeen to my doctor with them a couple of years ago and had a ecg. He seemed to think it was stress. The pains are really really bad. sort of squeezing pain which can be in the front or back and sometimes in my jaw and up to my ears. Each pain lasts up to a minute and with reoccur for a few days. Usually Patting my back or chest will make me burp and I will feel relief for a minute or so. So i am sure it is a trapped wind thing...but I cannot find any info about trapped wind giving you severe chest pain. I dont feel any acid. I am a nervous person anyway so whwn i get this I am always worring I am going to have a heart attack.

Any info or advice would be appricated

I know how you feel. I have been to ER 6 times. Only to be told everything is fine EKG's, Xrays, Blood Work, Urine Test, even an Echocardiogram. All fine. Yet i have pain right in the center of my chest, the left side of my ribs by my breast. Right under my ribs in the center of my stomach. Sre left arm and even jaw pain. I go Mar 30th to the Gastrologist to see about it I hop ei find good news.
