I am almost 38 and having a heck of a time trying to lose 9 pounds I've gained over the last 2 years. I exercise religiously 5-6x a week(45min walking, cross country ski machine, pilates, weight and resistance training). I'm a healthy eater. Sample day would be: breakfast- bowl of ***** go lean crunch cereal with skim milk, 1 banana, coffee, water . Lunch: mixed green salad with peppers, cucumber, turkey, a few almonds, a piece of diced cheddar and no-fat dressing. Snack: 1 granny smith apple Dinner:
bowl of mostly bean chili, salad, piece of cornbread and either water or a glass of red wine. Help!! The weight is in the dreaded middle, complete with love handles! I don't like it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Your food QUALITY and exercise seem good enough. So it has to be your food QUANITIYY that is doing you dirty.
Why not try to get a weekly average of your caloric intake and then lower that amont somewhat.
Remember, we can tub up while eating the healthiest and most noursihing food if we eat more of it than we burn and calories allow us to keep tabs.
