I've seen a lot of threads now where women have described some of their initial pregnancy feelings just as being "pulling" in their pelvic area or uterus. What exactly does this mean? Does it feel similar to cramping?

I'm having somthing similar to this, its hard to describe, and I started spotting a few days earlier than anticipated. very lightly so far. Not sure if its implantation bleeding or not. And my nipples seem to be sore, not the rest of my breasts, but this may be my imagination too. Its hard to tell sometimes! ;)

It's just pain in the abdomen, caused by the uterus pulling on the ligaments that it's held by. I had this at around 6-7wks pregnancy. It just felt like pretty severe abdominal pain on one side. More severe than cramping. More continues pain. That was my case. I only had them at night, good luck

My "pulling" sensation can be described as a dull ache, too. It comes and goes and it seems less than what my AF cramps would be. But, sometimes it does feel like a pulling sensation. Good luck!
