What do you guys think of this as a tool to lose weight. I work out daily - would like to take it. Product is called Lipodrene.

If you're referring to taking pills that are meant to be asthma medicine (but include ephedra) I think you arent being smart. Dont put things into your body that your body doesnt need... because one day it will need it and you will be immune! Kind of like taking cold medicine when you dont have a cold.. there is NO need and you are only hurting your system. If you were able to acquire some "pure" ephedra then by all means give it a shot, just dont abuse the product or any other.

Ephedra is no longer banned. You can buy it anywhere on the web now.. just google it and you can get it.

Can anyone suggest a reputable company to order from? I'm not too sure about ordering any pills from the web. I called GNC today and they told me they don't sell anything with Ephedra because it's an illegal substance. I called another health store and they do offer a product with 10mg of Ephedra, which they told me is the highest dosage they are legally allowed to sell. I believe the product is called Zenalean.

There aren't any repuatable companies making it anymore. I would stay away from it from U.S. bases companies. I don't know about overseas companies.

Hi Tech Pharmaceuticals makes Lipodrene as well as other popular brands such as Smacker with Hoodia. I could have swarn I saw a commercial for Xenadrine recently. Maybe it was the ephedra free kind.

Well, today is the first day I've taken that Zenalean. I'm not getting too excited because it's way to early to draw any conclusions. But, I can say this morning, I was bursting with energy. Too bad I decided not to go to the gym today. Also, I noticed that I have not been quite as hungry. I'll report further on my progress at the end of the week.

Also, i heard tat Lipo6 used to come with Ephedra too but now they dont offer it anymore.
so do you think it is safe to buy Lipo6 with Ephedra from web knowing that the company actually doesnt produce it anymore with Ephedra and the Web one could be really old or even expired?

ephedra is illegal... meth is made with pseudoephedrine and ephedrine which is EPHEDRA. its not something you want to take.

Ephedra is the plant, ephedrine is the chemical extract of it, and psuedoephedrine is an entirely different chemical that mimics ephedrine. It is not chemically similar at all, and you can't make meth from ephedrine.

You are right, but also note that slim is not found inside a bottle of anything.
Natural or not...I will again quote my doctor "Do you really think any product that you buy whether in a store like wal-mart, a health food, or a drug store will make you skinny?" with a laugh I might add!....when you think about it...the man makes one hell of a point! Is your plan to live on the pills for the rest of your life? Because when you stop, and you will, the weight will creep back.
If you want to lose the weight, water,portion controlled healthy diet, exercise will do the job and have zip side effects....and the best thing will keep the weight off for life...

I wanted to say something positive about Ephedra. Before it was banned, I took Xenadrine w/ Ephedra for two years. In that time I lost over 150 lbs. It wasn't the Ephedra that MADE me lose the weight, it was the Ephedra that HELPED me lose the weight. Huge difference. It gave me the energy I needed to move, move, move and that is what we all need to do in order to lose weight.

I have been taking Zenalean for a few months...........i have lost a ton of weight and inches. I really didnt need to lose much, but i lift and i wanted to cut my muscle. This has 0nly 10mg of Ephedra, but i have to say this is one of the best pills i have taken. Just dont take more than the recommended dose!

I took one, and my first Lipodrene pill today...no side effects this far. Racing heart is non-existant, no jitters either. It depends on the kind of person you are though. It's like kids, some bounce off the wall when they have a lollipop or a glass of soda...some don't.
I think ephedra is ok if you take it the way you're supposed to. most people over-do it thinking it will produce better results. not the case.
if ephedra screws with your body - don't take it. if it doesn't, I don't see the problem.
