I've been taking Aciphex for 3 weeks, the past week I increased to 2x a day and I'm still not getting much relief. Now, on top of my reflux, I'm starting to feel discomfort below my breastbone, where the esophagus is. Does anyone know if Aciphex or other PPIs can make your condition worse?
If I'm not responding to Aciphex will another PPI be better or should I try something else?
I'm so confused.

I've been on Aciphex for 5 weeks and I'm not any better. I'm told it's due to other medication I'm taking that is irritating my stomach so I have to stop that medication and hoping I'll get some relief. I'm very new to this so I don't know if the Aciphex can cause those side effects. But it seems like I'm constantly thirsty and I'm drinking lots of water. Can the PPI's make you dehydrated?
