i have around 10k + pvc's a day and they are begine. The electric read monitors seem to give me strange readings ranging from 125/85 to 140/90.

Now due to the at least 4-5 extra heart beats (ie pvcs) could it be that they cause the machine to give a bad reading? cause about 4 times i got a bad reading...reading. Now i had a regular bp checker, the analog one, and i was round 122/81 thats when this all started a while back. Also if i take the test several times in a row, can it constrict the vains and cause a bad reading too? after the third time my ear got hot, and i dont know if its bcause i went from hot to cold to hot to cold to hot again (happened just like that too). Im on verapamil 120mg nightly. can someone explain. thanks

I've found that any episodes of irregular heartbeat throws my monitor a curve ball. Maybe not all behave that way but if I feel a skipped beat while testing, I toss the result out.

When I was in the ER having my PVC crisis, the blood pressure cuff did not work at first. So yes, it can screw things up.
