I get Children's Benefits which is a monthly check, I was wondering if this includes any type of medical insurance for them? I'll call them, but I know pretty much everyone here is more knowlegable than everyone there!

After a year of being on disability, they should be able to get medicare. If your income level is below poverty, you should be able to get medicaide or your state health insurance program, for your children.

The Soc. Sec. website has all this information. If you haven't done so already, you should check it out. I have learned a lot from there.

Good luck and keep us posted on your situation.
