My tredmill has been broken for awhile and its too hot to jog outside and i dont like exercising in front of people. so would it be just as good to jog in place like in my house? i would assume it would be just as helpful as jogging on a treadmill?

I have been doing this successfully for the past two months. I have lost 4-5 inches in my waist. I go anywhere from 30-50 min. jogging in place or around the house while watching Starting Over on my tivo. It's like exercise and therapy in one :p . Just make sure your heart rate is up where it should be and you will be just fine.

Any Exercise is better then none. It wont be as effective as jogging on a treadmill...but can still be effective if you keep the intensity up.
